What are the Sunday Services like?
.
At Trinity UMC’s Traditional 11:00 a.m service, the service starts with majestic organ music that continues at several times through the service. The Choir offers an anthem. The Congregation sing a few hymns from the pew hymnals. It’s ok if you don’t know the words to the songs.  We share joys and prayer concerns.  There is a financial  offering suggested from the regular attendees.  We read scripture with an inspirational message to follow.  Our service usually lasts about an hour.
.
At Trinity UMC’s Vespers 7:00 p.m. service, we start with a solo presentation of several contemplative songs accompanied by piano or guitar. Those are followed by a short homily from the Pastor who then leads the assembled in Holy Communion of bread and juice by intinction, dipping the bread into a cup of juice. Dismissal is usually at approximately 7:30 p.m.
.
Will I be asked to give money?
If you’re new in visiting the service, you are not expected to provide a donation unless that is how you are moved.  Just come and experience the services at Trinity United Methodist Church.
.
If you like what you find in these services and want to consider calling Trinity UMC your home, then a financial commitment to the place that helps you grow spiritually is critical.   Giving financially and of one’s time is a deeply spiritual issue that encourages growth into the personal journey with Christ and each other.
.
Holy Communion
At Trinity UMC, everyone is invited to share Holy Communion.  This sharing of bread and juice reminds us of God’s gift through Jesus.  Holy Communion in the morning Tradional service is the first Sunday of each month.
The Sunday evening Vespers service will experience Communion each session.
